I have a dream …
that the divine spark connecting us all will reawaken and inspire us all to be all we can be, as we rediscover, we are ONE.
It is estimated that one in three women will suffer rape or domestic violence in their lifetime. We must all work in whatever way we can to stop these horrible crimes and to support those who have lived through them. The women (and men) I know who have lived through these steep life challenges have a similar wish to find a Spiritual Partnership.

“Healing Walks” for iPhone or iPod
Inspiration: This is one of the poems chosen for publication in the anthology  The Journey of Healing (Safer Society Press 2010). I am honored to have four of my works selected. Please enjoy listening to Healing Walks.
Inspiration: I was reading a news article about a child abuse case going to trial. It talked about having to put a child on the stand. I read the allegations and the visions of a child having to take the stand haunted me for a few hours. Finally, a line rolled through my brain like a freight train. Note: Originally posted in 2008. Reposted to honor witnesses in June 2012.
A scream caught into a smile on his little face
Bad men helping evil men continue to steal his innocence away
That is how he felt
That is what his heart told him…

Inspiration: I found this clay sculpture at an art fair.
It is called, “The Table is set and all the guests have arrived.”
All the masks we wear in the course of a day would make a full table at a dinner party.
